Rotate a PDF online for free. Turn all pages, or only the pages you choose, by 90 degrees to the right or left, or flip them upside down. Then download the fixed file. It all happens in your browser, so your document is never uploaded.

Why Rotate a PDF?
Scanned pages often come out sideways, and photos turned into a PDF can end up the wrong way up. Reading a sideways page means tilting your head or your screen. Rotating the page once fixes it for everyone who opens the file afterwards.
How to Rotate a PDF
- Press Choose a PDF file and pick your document.
- Select the rotation: right 90 degrees, left 90 degrees or upside down.
- To rotate only some pages, type them in the Pages box, for example 1-3, 5. Leave it empty to rotate every page.
- Press Rotate and download. Your fixed PDF is saved as the original name followed by -rotated.
What the Tool Does
- Rotates all pages or only the pages you list.
- Adds to the current rotation, so a page that is already turned keeps its turn and then moves further.
- Keeps the text, images and links on the pages. The pages are not redrawn.
- Saves a new file and leaves your original untouched.
Good to Know
- Password protected PDFs cannot be opened by the tool. Remove the password in your PDF viewer first.
- Each file can be up to 100 MB.
- The rotation is saved in the PDF as a page setting. Most viewers respect it, but a few very old programs may ignore it.
- To rotate in smaller steps than 90 degrees you need an editing program.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this tool free?
Yes. It is free to use, with no sign-up and no watermark.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The PDF is read and changed in your browser and is not sent to our servers.
Can I rotate only one page?
Yes. Type the page number in the Pages box, for example 4, and leave the others alone.
Will the rotation stay when I send the file?
Yes. The new orientation is saved inside the PDF, so it opens the same way for other people.
Can I undo a rotation?
Open the new file and rotate the same pages the other way, or just use your original file, which is never changed.
