What This Checker Looks At
This tool inspects the same on-page fundamentals search engines read directly from a page’s HTML: the title tag, meta description, heading structure, image alt text, canonical tag, robots directives, and internal/external link balance. These are technical, verifiable facts about the page itself — not estimated authority or ranking scores, which require a proprietary index this tool doesn’t have.
Why On-Page Basics Still Matter
Before worrying about backlinks or rankings, a page needs its fundamentals in order: a clear, unique title; a meta description that earns the click; one well-used H1; and images that are accessible and indexable. These are entirely within a site owner’s control and cost nothing to fix.
Reading Your Results
- Green checks mean that element follows common on-page best practice.
- Yellow warnings mean it’s present but could be improved (too short, too long, or missing an optimization).
- Red flags mean it’s missing entirely and worth addressing first.
